The Great Poets features a range of excellent poetry from the masters: Shakespeare, Shelley, Keats, T.S. Eliot and much more. Classics such as the Aeneid of Virgil, The Canterbury Tales, and Dante’s Inferno can be found here. Shakespeare’s Sonnets are as lovely as they are controversial. And Oscar Wilde’s Ballad of Reading Gaol is a beautiful poetic epitaph.

We have Wordsworth’s Lyrical Ballads, the Complete Poetical Works of Shelley, and those of Lord Byron. There’s the Mahabharata from India, and the Tao Te King from China. The Celtic Twilight by Yeats is here, as is poetry by James Joyce, Edgar Allan Poe, and Charles Baudelaire. And of course there’s Leaves of Grass by Whitman. Whatever your poetic tastes, The Great Poets has something for every reader.
